THE technology series

THE technology series

Throughout the course of the Humanise The Numbers podcast we have talked to accountants from all backgrounds, firm sizes and specialities. We have also spoken to authors, thought leaders and experts in the field but they all have one thing in common...

The adoption of tech and new technolgies and ways of working has never changed or grown at a pace faster than it is now and this sector is becoming increasingly focussed on supporting the work of accountants and their business owner clients to enhance internal systems and processes but also real time reporting and cloud based data handling.

In this Technology Series you'll hear the stories of the people that have immersed themselves in this area - you'll hear what got them to where they are, you'll hear about the tech that has changed the way they work and the systems and processes that have had profound and long lasting effect on the way their firms and businesses run.

On each episode page there are contact details for the guests so if any of these have inspired you, just drop them a line. All of them have agreed to make their contact info available and are willing to receive messages or connections from the podcast listeners.

TREes Planted!

climate action

For every download of this podcast we pledge to support the planting of a tree in India as part of the Sustainable Development Goal 13 Climate Action.

This project aims to collaborate with remote tribal communities to enable them to create, own and manage their own productive forest resources. Your contributions will help acres of common and privately-owned land to be covered with plantations with fruit, fodder and fuel bearing species under the ownership of respective communities. The project is focused on sustaining the local natural resources by improving livelihoods through effective management of natural resources in the respective hamlets. These plantations along with land development works will help in soil and water conservation in the region.
